contemporary new modern 20th century classical music from germany: stockhausen, fritsch, becker, henze, trojahn, leyendecker, blarr, niehaus, zimmermann (1996)

when the german federal state northrhine-westphallia celebrated its 50th birthday in 1996 the long defunct avantgarde label koch schwann released an edition of eight cds (sold separately as double-cds and as a boxed edition including all eight cds) compilating 50 years of modern contemporary neue musik that had been created or recorded in nordrheinwestfalen. and now, 20 years later, those editions are almost completely unavailable; even me, myself and i has only found a copy of the startingly very first double-cd by chance, and i am very glad to give you the rare opportunity of listening to it.
