wigga boom boom funny funny: the sweet excalibrating some of their greatest mistress on ear=th and a lot of fun drunk or not sober: some strumming outtakes and a lot of strumming bonustracks

gorgeous and ridiculous, fancy and awesome: the sweet at the wuthering heights of the teenage wasteland disturbing the sexual identity of any protopotential praepunk hormonic youth clandestonedly longing for a new error of re=bell=ion and re=volt=age in far=out=of=mind=takes.

a long time ago i bought this wonderful cd of the sweet's greatest hits in different versions for some 99 cent and always lost control again and again and around and around. i am coumpleteredlay aware of the fact that someware in this world a bootleg of this bootleg featuring some bonustracks is waiting to be unearthed by mybeautifulself but as it has not found me yet i took the freedome to enhence my pure and naked version of the cd with some addionated snouds i fnourd in my collection to expain your listening pleasure. it was easy, it was cheap, go and do it!

and here hear we go:

still scorned, dissdorned and sporned: squeeze by the velvet underground

most of the "real" velvet underground fans are way too snobbish to like or even at least accept the wonderful and completely underrated squeeze as the fifth album (or sixth, if you like to count max's kansas city as the fifth album) by the velvet underground. it was recorded by doug yule in london in the fall of 1972 with a little help from deep purple drummer ian paice and some unknown background singers.

for your listening pleasure i augmented and expanded my copy of the semi-legal cd-version of this album with some interrelated bonustracks i found in my collection. you can listen to some of the tracks directly right here, and you can download the complete version as mp3 or flac at the bottom of this post.

no messing with thee avalonguard today, just rogue and roil for your pleasure. rockpile of course were dave edmunds on guitars and vocals, nick lowe (the jesus of cool) on bass and vocals, bill bremner on guitars and terry williams on drums, and all of them were punks before you was a punk, and they all still are, thoubviciously.

the cover says that these performances were recorded live in the usa in 1979 and 1980, and yes they were, and they were not. according to discogs one two three i reelestated the most probabaly timesandspecies of the recordings burt wood they bee knot if they wore wrong? this is what we want, and this is what you get:
